Instructions
Set your oven to the 375℉ and prepare to use the middle rack. Measure out 3.5 Cups of All Purpose Breakfast & Baking Mix into a large mixing bowl. Create a well in the middle of the mix.
Measure out 3 ½ Cups or 575 grams of All Purpose Breakfast & Baking Mix into a large mixing bowl. Create a well in the middle of the mix.
Pour the beer (355 ml) into the centre well. Using a wood spoon slowly fold in the mix and combine to bake a sticky batter forming a large ball of dough. You may “need to knead" the dough by hand on a lightly floured surface.
Prepare a large loaf pan with non stick spray or parchment paper. Move the dough into the prepared pan and spread out evening. Use lightly wet hands if necessary.
Cover the loaf pan with a tea towel and allow the loaf to "rest & rise" for about 5 minutes. This isn't a necessary step - but we do it most times none the less!
Melt your butter and drizzle about ¼ of a cup over the entire loaf. Pop in the loaf in the oven Bake on the middle rack for 45-50 minutes or until the bread has a nice golden crust.
When ready, remove the loaf pan from the oven & drizzle with remaining ¼ cup of melted butter. Best served warm or sliced and toasted!
