First of all, know your juniper – please make sure you do your research to see if Juniper is going to work and be safe for you. Secondly – this is a “make well in advance” recipe! You will need time for the salts to fully and properly infuse.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of coarse sea salt
- 1 tablespoon of dried and crushed juniper berries
- 1 small branch of juniper needles (or more for aroma) and remove after awhile – some juniper needles left behind are ok!
- 1 tablespoon (or to taste) of dried chive blossoms (that cute purple flower from a chive plant)
Directions:
- Mix salt, blossoms and berries together and place in a mason jar.
- Place the small juniper branch on top and then seal with a lid.
- Store for a minimum of 2 weeks to fully infuse the flavours.
