Brighten Up Breakfast
How we contribute
We first initiated Brighten Up Breakfast back in 2017-2018 under this business, however, it was way back in 2010 when we first implemented a similar community give back through our old bakery in Banff.
Back then, our initiative was called “Home is Where the Heart is,” and we made from scratch gingerbread house kits and donated them to Santa’s Anonymous care packages and to the Alberta Ronald MacDonald Houses for families to take a time out, connect and create during their stay at the homes.
When Lannie Rae Gourmet seemed to be taking flight, we knew we would try to find a way to give back again, and the name Brighten Up Breakfast seemed to make perfect sense. After all, we are in the business of breakfast, and the most important meal of the day is breakfast when the world turns on the lights again each day!
The campaign has evolved over the years with the ebbs and flows of the economy, our physical and mental health, but we always find ways to keep slaying!
If you would like to sprinkle some sugar on more than just baked goods please consider sprinkling a dash on some of the wonderful initiatives and organizations that we have supported over the years!
