Lemon Strawberry Chia Seed Waffles
Ingredients
- 1 cup Jane with a Why Mix
- 2/3 cup Almond Milk (or preferred milk)
- 2 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1 tbsp Almond Extract (or Vanilla)
- 1 Egg
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Handful of washed strawberries (sliced if desired)
- Lemon Zest
Instructions
- Preheat waffle maker, spray with oil.
- Add waffle mix and chia seeds to your bowl and lightly whisk together. Blend in the egg and milk into your dry ingredients. Add the almond extract and lemon juice. If needed, add an extra splash of milk! Gently fold in the strawberries and lemon zest.
- Let the batter sit for 5 minutes and then place in the centre of your waffle maker.
